Denise Howell, Program and Ministerial Secretary

Denise has served Decatur Presbyterian Church as Program and Ministerial Secretary since May 2002. There is almost no part of the church she does not support. She supports the ministerial staff, the session and the programs of the church. She maintains the membership database, prepares session packs and produces bulletins for our varied services. In addition, Denise can be found going above and beyond for all of the programs of the church. Whether it be BAM Camp, Threshold, or daily operations, Denise does her best to make everyone at DPC feel welcome and loved.

Besides her administrative competence, Denise brings authenticity, compassion and caring to anyone she encounters. Her kindness touches the congregation on a daily basis and her attention to detail ensures things run smoothly. Denise takes great pride in her work and considers it a blessing to work at Decatur Presbyterian. In 2005, she and her daughter moved to Decatur and DPC has been family ever since. In her free time, Denise enjoys spending time with her children, Alex and Emily. She loves to shop, spend time with friends, read, and visit the beach.
