Rev. Emily Wilmesherr is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University and Columbia Theological Seminary. She began at Decatur Presbyterian Church in August of 2017 as the Interim Director of Children’s Ministry, just after her graduation. Rev. Emily was ordained in 2020 as the Associate Pastor for Children and their Families. In February of 2022, she picked up several other responsibilities in her pastoral role and is now the Associate Pastor for Intergenerational and Caring Ministries.

Rev. Emily is married to her husband, Drew, who is also a pastor and works with Ukirk Atlanta, the PCUSA campus ministry for Agnes Scott and Emory. She has two daughters, Evie and Juliette. Rev. Emily loves singing 90s hits at the top of her lungs, musicals, playing baseball, cooking, and laughing until she cries. She loves a good mystery, a good cup of coffee, and chocolate in all its forms. Rev. Emily is off on Fridays.
